Meet The Team

Stacey
Stacey has a solid background in hospitality management so customer service, event organisation and problem solving are just some of the skills she brings to Raspberry Creatives. A singer / songwriter in her spare time she has performed in cabaret at Pontins and in pubs around South Wales and Kent. She loves to draw and paint and recently had her first international sale as an artist! Her talents include upcycling furniture in unique, colourful designs and she has completed many beautiful commissions. Stacey is also a full time mum and hopeless dog addict. Stacey is our lead organiser and can be found facilitating karaoke, party games, open mic and helping out with crafts and all the other activities. She's also a dab hand at glitter tattoos!

Laura
Laura has over 20 years’ experience working in the business support industry including Business Wales, Big Ideas Wales and Start Up Loans. She has spent time writing, appraising and monitoring grants within Welsh Government so has knowledge of what funders are looking for when awarding funding. Laura launched The Business Community @ Glan Afan in Port Talbot and supported the launch of several new businesses including Raspberry Creatives. Laura also supported the delivery of the inaugural NPT Pride event. Laura is a people person and a strong communicator always looking to support and help. Laura currently works as Senior Manager in Swansea Council. She is a Mam to 2 children and 2 dogs and married. Laura loves spending time with her family, socialising with friends, shopping and listening to Taylor Swift- she’s a huge Swiftie!

Louise
Louise has a 30 year background in childcare, education and community work and has been working with children since training to be an NNEB Nursery Nurse many moons ago. She has many years experience working with children and young people with additional needs. For the last 10 years Louise has been making and selling various crafts including upcycled pieces, embroidery and needlefelted sculptures. Louise runs most of our craft classes and workshops, make and play sessions and is always coming up with new activities for us to try! Mum, Nanny and surrogate mum to half of the South Wales Valleys, Louise often needs to escape in her camper van with just a dog for company!

Jack
Jack has been practicing circus skills since he was very young and has trained with several circuses. He loves to sculpt and create through many mediums including paper, clay, 3D pen and has recently embarked on a quest to needlefelt every single Pokémon! Origami purist, dog dad, chef and obsessed gamer, Jack assists with circus skills, crafts and donkey work.

Lee
Lee's diverse professional background include administration, industrial engineering, environmental science, facilities management, auditing, project management and office management.
Lee is a seasoned Dungeon Master who runs roleplaying sessions for kids and adults alike. He has bee supporting the introduction of regular D&D at the Art Space, after finding the game to be a great social support hobby and community building activity during the 2020 lockdowns.

Rachel
Rachel’s professional background has been a mix of hospitality and support work, specialising in ASD and brain injury care. With a degree in Theatre, she has performed around the world and is one of the regular cast of Neath’s official annual Pantomime. Rachel writes a blog called Gay of Moonshine, and is an activist and public speaker for LGBTQ+ rights. She is so incredibly excited to be part of the Raspberry Creatives team, and of the beautifully proud arts scene in her hometown.

Danielle
Danielle has been one of the Directors for Raspberry Creatives CIC since September 2024. Prior to this, she took part in many of the community opportunities, playschemes, family fitness and craft sessions with her children and loved the way the sessions worked. When I heard about the expansion into a community venue I was keen to be involved, even helping with the cleaning and decorating of the venue before opening to the public. She has offered fantastic support with volunteer training, funding advice, business opportunities and the expansion of activities.
Danielle's professional career focusses on learning disabilities, additional learning needs and autism. She has worked as a carer, teaching assistant, family support advisor, advocate, trainer and a project coordinator. She is currently working on a befriending project called Gig Buddies Cymru which focuses on giving people with learning disabilities opportunities to have social lives during the evenings and weekends with a volunteer who shares the same interests. She feels incredibly proud of the work she has done with Raspberry Creatives, so far, and is looking forward to seeing what the future holds!
